I have just discovered my grand mothers father Charles Henry Dobson c1879 does not appear on any census prior to 1901 where he is a boarder. It says he was born in Paneras, where is that?
I cannot find him in the birth records either can anyone enlighten me on this.
Can anyone tell me how i would find out if my grandmother had any siblings as she was born after the 1901 census. Her name was Elsie Mary Dobson 1-9-1905 she married Charles George Searle in 1926

Whereabouts was Charles Henry Dobson in 1901 because I can't find him?

Are you sure the birthplace isn't Pancras? Or could it be Panama?

Sorry, but on Ancestry the Charles Dobson in Gloucester Road is born Croydon.

Are you sure it isn't Pancras? If you found the birth on Ancestry, then it would be in England.
