I have only started on the IGI not long ago.

How about ;-
ANN LAWRANCE
Spouse: GEORGE MALINGS
Marriage: 03 JAN 1805 Saint Martin, Birmingham, Warwick, England

The trick is - if you can't find it with one name try the other. Another is the range of dates you search - take the birth year of the youngest, add 25 and use the result as the year with a range of +-10 years. That covers a marriage from age 15 to 35.

Marriage: 03 JAN 1805 Saint Martin, Birmingham, Warwick, England

Alwsys remember that our ancestors may not have been able to read and write even their own name and it depended on the clerk doing the recording as to the spelling of their names, and may vary over time and place.

I have been searching for marriage records on the IGI and familysearch for the marriage of

GEORGE MEALINGS 1777 TO ANN LAWRENCE 1789.

I would think in between those years 1805 to1815

In WARWICKSHIRE/WORCESTER area.
