You will need to buy her birth certicate to be certain who her parents are. Where have you had her birth year from, do you have her marriage certificate? If so, who is her father and what is his occupation? Have you looked for her on the 1891 census?

thank you sam for this information I only found out last week my relative edmund mcdowell was buried with his daughter may emily and her husband

now I found out her mothers name its a another branch to find

but is this the same family which rose found
