Here is a Fred Long

Fred Long
Year of Registration: 1901
Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
District: Bramley (1863-1925)
County: Yorkshire - West Riding
Volume: 9b
Page: 331

He missed the census though :-(

If you ordered the birth certificate it would give you the parents names so you would know for sure

Kirsty

As several other people have already advised you on your other threads........you must get Fred's birth cert......quoting the father's name as a checking point....to find out accurately the names of his parents, and his father's occupation.

Then you can find the RIGHT family on 1901 census

You really cannot do genealogy based on guesswork............at least, not if you want it to be correct.
