It was very industrial the main company being Yates ironfounders. (you can google this for information). This building is still there. Hope this helps

	Check the Post Office website........if the street exists, it should show on there. Or try one of the many online street map websites........google to find them Reg

	Hi folks Does anyone know if 56 Thames Street Rotherham still exists as that was the place of birth of my gran and it would be interesting to know. Thank you All
