I would say Reg has the right one. I have recently come across a female ancestor whose death was caused by puerperal peritonitis and exhaustion. Poor girl was only 22. I've often wondered if other women who died in childbirth had exhaustion down as an additional cause of death - maybe that was what happened with your relative. |

The poor women back then, I often wonder how they managed to churn out a kid every year - Id have been terrified to have one at all with the number of girls dying in childbirth. |
