You won't find a birth cert for anyone born before 1837, as this was when civil registration came in. You would have to look for a baptism record.

I think this will be the death of son Samuel

Samuel Smith Nevell
Year of Registration: 1856
Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
District: Islington
County: Greater London, London, Middlesex
Volume: 1b
Page: 1[60]3 (page 163)

Cannot see Samuel - there is a George Samuel in Bethnal Green in 1853 but that wouldn't appear to fit.

Can you help please:
Hannah Nevell b 1848 Shoreditch.
I have her birth and spelt correctly.
Sister Mary Nevell b. 1856 cannot locate her birth.
Mother Sarah (believed Smith 1826)

I believe Sarah married a Joseph Nevell.
Cannot locate marriage

However in 1861 Census all are shown living with Reuben Walker but the girls surnames are transcribed as NEVIL.
By 1871 the girls are living as Stepdaughters with Reuben no sign of Sarah.

Reuben appears later to take Hannah as
an "unmarried wife". See later census.

Looking for:
Death of Samuel Nevell
Marriage of Sarah to either Nevell or Walker.
Birth of Mary.
Marriage, if any, of Hannah or Mary.
Death of Sarah or Mary.
(I know about Hannah).
or did Sarah disappear due to Reuben and Hannah????

Hannah was my Great Grandmother.
Many thanks,
Roger

Any help very welcome please.
