Hi i wonder if anyone could help me . My great great grandfather was Ralph Aspinall born c1821 Leith Scotland he must have come south of the border because he married my great great grandma in 1851 in leigh lancashire.where they lived till they died I have their marriage cert and it doesnt give me much info only that ralph was living in bedford leigh and his occupation was weaver and that his fathers name was ralph aspinall and he was a weaver. i have spent a fortune on scotlands people and cant find any ralph aspinall at all. if anyone has any other ideas or can help then i would be most appreciative.i have ralph from 1851 census till his death in c1898 |

malcolm thank you so much for that i have just had a message from a scottish site with the same info .it looks promising as ralphs mothers name was mary she had remarried by 1851 and her name was mary hart and ralph and his wife and son were living with her in leigh lancashire but still no sign of ralph aspinalls birth c 1821 ? |
