where to find the record

thanks jo i can put them all to one side and then sort them out. is there a way of finding out which church i know the main church in winwick is st oswalds ?

thnks once again the baptism of margaret hart is very promising. the marriage of ralph aspinall is not relevant. marys son ralph married ann crosston in leigh 1851 i have the cert for that it gives his father as ralph aspinall but no other info.

jo thats the one i am trying to find out as much as i can about mary aspinall i think she was married before and her maiden name was mary dick she married ralph aspinall in 1808 in edinburgh is there anyway i could see the parish record or any other record of this mariage

You won't get many extra details ffrom the parish records. Just whether they were of the parish or not and the names of the witnesses. Possibly the groom's occupation and if either of them was a widow/er, it may say.

Of course, looking at the PR's will prove that the entry on the IGI is correct.

Was the record submitted by a member or extracted from parish records?

If it was extracted then you can hire the microfilm/fiche ot the records at any clds family history centre. It costs a very small amount & so easy.

hi i have found a marriage on the lds site

MARY ASPINALL
Marriages:
Spouse: WILLIAM HART Family
Marriage: 18 APR 1825 Winwick, Lancashire, England

has anyone any idea where i might be able to find the parish records for this area. i have looked on the lancashire online parish site but although winwick is on there it has no records for them.
any ideas anyone
