Bob Phillips on behalf of FreeBMD coordinates a very small band of volunteer photographers who take photographs of the BMD index pages at the Family Record Centre (FRC) in London.

The FRC is removing access to the index books in a few months prior to its total closure next year so Bob would like to take as many photographs as possible before it is too late..

Anybody who can and would like to help please contact Bob.

He's not necessarily looking for multiple visits, anything helps and the job is easy, just a steady hand and a digital camera is needed.

Further details of the requirements and how to contact Bob are at: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robert.phillips13/rescans.htm
