Hi Lorraine

I have to second you there :-)

I have spent a very pleasant afternoon in Kendal Records Office today. I didn't find very much, but had a lot of fun just looking through the records they had there:-)

For anybody who hasn't visited a records office , i say take the plunge.

I went today for the first time and it was really great , enjoyed myself.

Got loads of information for £2 for the price of using my digital camera.

Okay so i had to pay some petrol , but it was a nice day out for me so it still was a bargain.

If anyone has weddings of relatives and some baptisms , in. Lllanhilleth , Beaufort areas.
have some names on the page that i photographed they might be useful to some one

Not many but they must belong to someone.

I found some more of my mothers family ones i didn't know about so that was great.

I was really nervous but it was brilliant and the staff will point you in the right direction so to speak.

Like i say take the plunge

Best wishes

Lorraine
