I am trying to find the James and Rosina Fagan after 1901 census.

i want to know if they had any other children other than the two i know of. i have found their sons Fred and Albert on Free BMD registered guilford. after 1903 there are no more fagan's registered guilford so i wanted to know if there is anyway of finding if the family moved from the area after 1903. is there anyway to find this out? without this info i can't possibly find if they had any other children.

any help appreciated. thanks leanne

Leanne

If you have the two childrens birth certs, you will know the Mothers maiden name.

Now all you have to do is...start trawling the birth indexes year by year, quarter by quarter.

It is time consuming but worth it when you find one! You can only be sure if you buy the cert and check the parents names. James Fagen and Rosina ?

Good luck

thanks Gerri,

I know the mothers maiden name, but thought they didn't put mmn on there until 1912, so was just going by the place of birth.

would i have to go to national archives to look through physically or is there anything on the net where i can search?

i will be going to surrey history centre tommorrow would they have surrey records at all?

thanks for replying. :)

i have searched freeBMD after 1911 with mmn but nothing. i have also searched for a death for rosina which would eliminate any more children by her. on the free bmd i entered surname and just her first initial (R) up until 1980 which would make her 100 but only records up until 1919 are appearing.
