You can find the reference number as you do for UK births then apply for the certificate from General Register Office, at 8-11 Lombard St, Dublin 2,

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints family history centres hold the indexes for Ireland births marriages and deaths.

Just found that Great Grandad went to work in Ireland and had three more children over there.

How do you go about getting birth certificates and what sort of info. do you need to give them.
