i am looking for a graveyard called edmonson graveyard in clapton e5 and i am looking for details as to where it is but cant find any details on it

Well there is an EdmonTon Cemetery but it is a Jewish Cemetery.


If it is a spelling mistake then was the person Jewish? If so they could be buried miles from place of residence or death if that area didn't have an appropriate burial place or they wished to be buried in a family prefered graveyard.

thanks for ur replys i have a newspaper snippet saying my grandparents were buried in edmonson graveyard (it looks like an s could could be a t lol) and at one time they lived at beaumont court clapton e5 they did come from poland and they were jewish

If you google Edmonton Cemetery alot of interesting sites come up.

I promise there is an Edmonton Cemetery in London :) OH has a few distant ancestors buried there!

If you do a general Google search I suggest limiting the search to 'Pages from the UK' otherwise you get all the Canadian ones too.
