Downloading census results

I know there is a way of downloading census results so you can strip off the black edges to reduce cartridge use when you're printing them. Unfortunatey I've forgotten how to! Can anyone help?

Thanks for the explanation. I don't usually print census records but need to send some to my FIL who doesn't have internet access.

I find Google Picasa very good for this,and so easy that even I can crop,straighten,etc.
