You could try on Ancestry complete index.

I've had a look on the partially transcribed index but the only one I could find is earlier than you say:-

Name: Ann Dainteth
Year of Registration: 1862
Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec
District: Northwich
County: Cheshire
Volume: 8a
Page: 179

Where is the best place to look for a death record? I am looking for the death of Ann Dainteth (could be spelt daintith) between 1872 and 1881 and i cant seem to find it.
I have tried the cheshire bmd and the family search. Is there another way?
Thanks
Hannah
