i have amarriage cert of my aunt and it looks like her mother is a wittness can her mother be awittness to her marriage thank you

Yes, any person over 18 yrs or 21yrs, depending on the age of consent, can be a witness to a wedding.

thank you that may help now in finding out when her mother died as have been unable to find her death did sent for cert but it wasnt her

yes she had only one sister and her name was winfred,but for the grooms winttness it has E Gooch which was his mothers name ,bothwere 23 when they married
