Cant find on 1901 census

I have a marriage certificate for George William Turner, b 1893 On it it shows his father as Edward Turner, Yet on the 1891 or 1901 Census I dont seem to be able to find them. Am I being thick or can any one help

I have been looking in the london and surrounding area's as that is where the marriage cert states the ceremony took place

I know the Bride was from Bromely by Bow, and believe the Groom was from Edmonton

Does the marriage certificate say his father is deceased or what was his occupation?

He was a GPO wireman and his father a Compositor

Are you sure it says he was born 1893 and not 1898?

Yes 1893 otherwise he would have been 15 when he got married!!!!!
