Wow Ann, I didnt know!

My G Grandad is Thomas Graham, born Barrow in Furness in 1877 but his line is proving very difficult. He appears on 1881 census in Workington with an Ann Boyd and is listed as her son. I am assuming she remarried or had him out of wedlock,

I cant find him on 1891 and need to order cert to progress,

There seem to be many Cumberland links,

Could be a long search Caz, during my research I read somewhere that 49% of Grahams in england were in cumberland in the 19th century !!!

Is your Thomas the one who married Hannah Redhead? I remember when I first joined seeing one of your threads about this. Did you get my attachment for Thomas and Hannah on 1901 census?

Yes,

I have been lucky so far, all mine have stayed in or around the 3 areas I've mentioned and some had unusual middle names but I am sure it won't always be like that lol

have you got any more details on Ann Boyd, I will check her out as well ?

And have you got any details of siblings, as you know there are lots of Thomas Grahams so I need something else to verify I am on the right one, thanks
