hi all

I'm trying to obtain a death certificate for someone who died in Tenerife - any ideas where to start looking, he died in 1997?

thanks, Stephanie

You could maybe contact the British consulate in Tenerife if they were British as I think they will be able to help you.

Might be worth just asking your local Register Office what happens because the death might be registered in the UK as well when the body is repatriated.

These are the details.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife
British Consulate
Plaza Weyler, 8, 1ยบ
38003 Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Tel.: 922 28 68 63

E-mail: [email protected]

If the death was registered at the consulate there will be a record held at GRO in UK
