thanks woody im beginning to think maybe they moved now. He ends up in 1881 on a ship called John and Jane which is from Kent so possibly maybe they all moved down and the George that i had living with grandparents were the wrong ones |

Hi i have found them but if anyone can help with what happened to Georges parents Margaret (Porteous) Cowie and George Cowie around the times of 1857-1881 that would be great thanks. Debbie |

Can someone help with the birth of George Cowie and John Cowie born about 1857. I don't know if they are twins or not but George seems to live with relitves from the age of 4 upwards and i'm trying to find out anything about him. Thanks Debbie |
