Excel Help - Please

Hi guys,

I once helped a gentleman on this site with an Excel problem. Now unfortunately I have a problem and need some-ones help.

I have over ridden a file on Excel working with Windows XP. On an older version of Windows I used to be able to Salvage a file through "My computer" click down to the folder with the file I needed in and when right clicking and selecting "N Salvage file" it showed me all the saves over the past months where I could salvage one to the nearest date I'd made the error on it.

On XP I've been struggling to find this function anywhere. Can any of you lovely people out there help me please.
