My real father. His name is Peter Price, but was born Hopkins. Date of birth ( that i know of ) 9th june 1942.

Not sure if he is even still alive.

Any help would be much appreciated

I have no idea where he was born. All i know is that when i was born his mother and step father were living in hornchurch essex

do you know his mothers name at all so we can try to see any relevant marriages.
I can see a few possible Peter births in a few locations it might help to narrow it down a bit

His mothers name was patricia but i dont know her maiden name, she married to the name of price

hi i know she married to a price after peter was born i was just wondering if she was married before as the births for:

Peter Hopkins as his name was then had the mothers

maiden name Pole registered in Bridgend

mmn Hemmings registered in Coventry

mmn Priest registered in Rotherham

Do you have any idea of when she may have married the Price.

I am now thinking her name could have been smith.............reasons... i have found someone of the same name to his half sister and her mmn was smith then i checked if any prices had married a patricia smith and found one both the birth of the sister and the marriage of the the mother and step dad were both reg'd in dartford.............i believe these could be links.

I'm hoping so cos this has taken me all day to get this far PHEW !!!!
