If someone was a Master Shoemaker when he died in 1862 will there be apprenticeship records? If so, where do I look for them?

Would he have belonged to a Guild? Again where can I look to find out?

Thanks in anticipation.
Mumsy.

This person had his business in London in the early 1800's so I might have to chek out somewhere more local to that.
Many thanks,

Mumsy.
