George would fit in nice just above the oldest child and that would be why they dissapeared from Scotland not long after he was born. Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 798 Send Message	I just found George born 1856 in 1880 united States Census as a school teacher and i don't think it is the same family after all as the George i'm after turned up in 1881 England Census as a ship mate on the John and Jane Vessel and he was defenatly born in Scotland. Thanks anyway i knew it was too good to be true
