Lost in 1851 census

I'm trying to find a William Naden in the 1851 census but he's disappeared. I've tried every spelling of the surname I can think of but I can't find him and I think I've gone name blind *grin*.

He's a William Naden born 1824 in Newcastle Northumberland. He married a Mary Skipsey in 1846 and had at least one child who died up there(Francis b1848)
He appears down in West Ham in 1861 with wife and has children born in West Ham(William 1853).

So anybody got any idea where he was in 1851?
