Anyone Heard of the Steele Foundation?

You can find a lot of info if you google "steele foundation" in quotation marks.

Hey! Just noticed with the new improvements to the site quotation marks show as "this" instead of 'this'.

No mention of it in the Times Archives. I tried to search the Scotsman Archives, but even using the Advanced search option, it came up with thousands of entries with the word Steel!!

Plus it could only be a family rumour.

Been trying to help my BIL start researching his family and one thing that came up in conversation is the Steele Foundation apparently in Scotland before 1900 we think.

Anyone heard of it?
