It would help with the search if we knew the names and birth details of his wives........plus the birth details of the children

Could he have been in the Boer War - that would account for him not being on the 1901 census.

The only John G. Kelley I can find in 1901 on Ancestry is born Gateshead ans is younger than your man (born 1869 and occupation Paper Traveller).

Hi

I am trying to work something out and wondering if someone would be kind enough to look for me.

My grt grt grandfather the above was born approx 1858 in Ruskington he married x 2 and had 3 chidren, William, Sarah and Lilly. His 2nd wife I know moved to mansfield and had another child and I presumed that he died but he apparently died in 1906 in Lewisham, London what is really bugging me is I cannot find him on the 1891 census or the 1901. And I am like why did he die down there??? Does that sound bizarre and trying work out if he had anymore children. He was on 48 when he died. If i could just find trace of him.

Would anyone be kind enough to see if they can find him???

Amanda
