How about trying some of your names on www.irishorigins.com

Once you have found something thats worth further investigation you can sign up at £4.50 for 72 hour access.
Also look on this board for teresa's thread for Irish hints and tips.

I'd recommend Ancestry for your English research. A yearly subscription only works out at about £1.50p per week so it's well worth it and you can use the site 24 hours a day and do as many searches as you want.

However it won't help you much with Irish research I'm afraid.

I want to subscribe to a site that will best help me in my research in England and Ireland can you recommend one and how much it will cost.
Do you have to still pay to view anything once you have subscribed.
Also can you view pension records for ww1.
