	You need firstly to establish his age when he married, to know in which year/s to search.........that info will be on the marriage cert.......along with the name and occupation of his father. Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 12 Send Message	I SEEMED TO HAVE HIT A BRICK WALL.HAVING TROUBLE TRYING TO FIND MY FATHER,GEORGE HENRY DAYE.I HAVE TRIED BIRTH RECORDS IN ENGLAND,IRELAND(north&south) SCOTLAND AND WALES.CANNOT FIND ANY TRACE OF HIM, ALL THAT I KNOW IS HE MARRIED MY MUM IN PORTSMOUTH IN 1953 ON THE 2nd OF MARCH.I WAS BORN THE YEAR AFTER ON THE 5th FEBRUARY,AT ST MARY'S HOSPITAL IN PORTSMOUTH.
