I try and get them for all my direct line ancestors (grandparents, great-grandparents etc). I only tend to goet those of siblings etc if I can't find the info I need any other way.

Most definately.

Buy what you can, when you can.

Go backwards one stage at a time, otherwise by missing out Birth certs, you could well go back up a wrong line - wasting both your time and your money.

There is no rush to 'complete' a Family Tree, so enjoy it and take as much time as you need.

Hi Guys
Just wondering, does everyone buy birth certs and/or marriage certs all the way through their research to verify who's who ? I have bought quite a few marriage certs but not many birth certs and just wondering if I could have made the mistake of not verifying all of my rellies ?!
Thanks
