Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 715 Send Message	Ang In short with difficulty. Your first port of call should be the coroners office local to where the inquest took place. In my experience they only keep 6 years worth of records and then will only release detail to interested parties – which usually means police, lawyers etc. You can write asking for details, once you’ve established they have the relevant files, but will have to give chapter and verse why you want it and your connection. Anything longer than 6 years is closed for 75 years and only a very small number of details are kept so it’s real pot luck – there is no central repository like with Wills or Divorces. If the inquest was of national or local interest you could try looking at the local papers around the relevant time. Good luck Thanks Rachel
