I would just like to say thanks to everyone that has provided help and info to me on the message boards and through GR hot matches.

I have to say though that when you are starting out and getting very frustrated as not knowing where to go this is a good place to start, and I can't think of much that you can buy for a tenner nowadays especially that lasts at least 6 months and helps so much.

I have met cousins that I didn't know I had got from all over the world that has speeded up my family research beyond anything that I could have imagined within 4 months of looking!

I also have been on ancestry.com rather than the uk one and that gives the 3 free day trial with different e-mail addresses. Have learnt though to gather lots of possibles before using another go so I can.

I like looking through the tips and trying to find and find it interesting what everyone had to say negative or positive there is a lot of knowledge out there and thanks to anyone and everyone that gives their time willingly to help us newbies, or those that are just plain stuck.

Anyway hope you all enjoy this frustratingly rewarding pastime and long may it continue!
