	Normally a death is reported by someone present at the death, or a relative and that is how they would be described. If neither of these is available then the person who arranges the funeral (whether cremation or burial) can register - hence the description.

	HI Gill, W Ellis when registering the death of the deceased knew that the deceased was going to be cremated,,,,,,,, That is how it is worded,on death certificates,

Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 322 Send Message	I have just received a death certificate and in the Signature, description and residence of informant column it says, W. Ellis Causing the body to be cremated. 26 Church Square, Rye. Does anyone know why this is?????
