does anyone live in the bolton area?

Can't really help I'm afraid, but if you use Google Maps and type Cow Lane Bolton into the search box, click search and then when the map comes up click on the word "hybrid", you can see an arial image of the area. You can zoom in and out and drag the map around to see the area.

Your friend might then get a better idea of just whereabouts the farm was.

Hi i am looking for info on a farm in the bolton area . i am helping to trace my brother in laws family and he remembers his grandparents living on a farm
The farm was off Saint Helens Road on the right hand side going to Bolton up Hulton Lane as far as he can remember and just before Cow Lane.
my brother in law was born 1940 so it was still there when he was a small boy. he now lives in australia.
does anyone know where this is or can tell me anything about it
