I have just discovered from a birth certificate that a relatives occupation is 1929 was a bombardier. Does anyone know if RA stands for Royal Artillery and does this mean he was in the army? Are there any army records I can search for more information?
Thank you

As he was still serving in 1929 his service records will still be with the Army.
