Yes I have - and she is slightly odd as regards the rest of this family! Her mother Emma nee Mear(e)s) father Richard Summons had 10 children and although he was from Pembroke Clarissa is the only one born there and her age is out on the census, BMD 1859. The name Summons gets spelt wrongly often (not unusual I know) on census. But I thought since her first name is a bit unusual she'd be easy to find! He was a Shipwright/Builder/Contractor and they moved from Bedminster to Stoke Dameral and then back again to Bedminster. It's possible that they went to Australia! There seem to be a lot of Summons from H'west in Wales also and that's where Emma was from! Sorry, I think I'm rambling now.....Frances

Do you think this may have anything to do with it? Age is about right.

Do you have any of their possible children's names as they are proving illusive?

Best Wishes

Rufus Webb is married to an Emily in 1901 but I haven't found Clarissa yet.

I'm going back to Ancestry as soon as my other subscriptions have expired ..........in the meantime I would really appreciate a 1901 census lookup. The name is Clarissa F A Summons (she would be 35 by 1901) and she married in Bristol in 1893 to either William Edward Scudamore or Rufus Isaac Webb.

Many thanks if you are able to help
Frances
