Have you found them on any of the census, if so what years and there names and the address of the hotel.

Atrincham is now in Trafford which in turn is part of Greater Manchester.

I don't know what you have input in google in your search.......but if it was Altrincham.....that was Cheshire.

Hi Louise, you probably need an old Directory such as Kelly's. They were a bit like yellow pages of their day.
Some are on line (up to about 1915) www.historicaldirectories.org

For 1911 they have Slater's Manchester Salford and Suburban Directory and if you have a name there is an alphabetical directory.

The site is good but can be a bit slow

Can anybody help me? I'm looking for an old hotel in Manchester, which was run by my Great Grandparents or even the generation before them. The name I have is the Baymont Hotel, I believe it was either in or near the Altrincham area.

I have tried Google and come up with nothing, I just would like to get a picture or something info on it, so I can add it to my tree.

If anybody has any suggestions where I can get the info, please let me know.

Thanks
