a leslie jones whom married a olive jones(maidan name jones also)i know he was born around 1920 and died 1978ish..think they had 4 children..can anyone please help me find out more info on them please eg actual dates.

I would think it's virtually impossible........unless you can say when and where the eldest child was born.

The GRO index lists only the spouse's surname......not the forename......every record would have to be viewed twice, at least.............

As you don't even have a definite birth date, that compounds the problem.


You could invest a fiver in findmypast and have 50 credits, which would enable you to eliminate some entries.............

I'm assuming that you are looking for the marriage reg'n........your request isn't very specific...............
