Hi anyone who is happy to help

I'm looking for a William Greig born in Auchtermuchty around 1883 was told that he was born in this area (same place as DR finlays casebook was filmed)
have a contact who has found a William Napier Greig born 1883 in Tarbet - born in Tarbetness lighthouse but i'm not sure if this is my relation or not i have nobody to ask, my dad only remembers the auchtermuchty bit - does anyone know if auchtermuchty is anywhere near to tarbetness lighthouse?

I have just confirmed to myself that the william napier greig born in tarbet is not my relative, the father's name is wrong, my williams' father is ames Greig who was a VANMAN?
