Member Since: May 2006 Posts: 9 Send Message	I have just done this, looking up my Great Grandad - I have yet to get to the stage where I go to the National Archives in Kew (that's next month!) but am fairly certain I found his medal card online (costs £3.50 - which you don't need, it may just help as it contains number, rank and brigade). At Kew all records are on microfiche and are sorted alphabetically by surname so if your Grandad's record survived the bombing of WWII then it will be there.

Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 193 Send Message	Can any one point me in the right direction . My grandad Henry robert Browning was in WW1 all i know is he was in the London rifles and lost a leg . Can any help me find his records our tell were to look. Regards Paul Browning
