I think i know what you have done, and the best way now it ask Genes to delete the wrong one

Julie and Clou, thanks for your replies, I ve managed to get the correct person on there, but the "wrong" name is still showing as the mother of my gr grandmother as well as the correct one. Its very frustrating!!! Just been to my tree on tribal pages changed it all no problem, why is this tree so unuser friendly? I would remove it all together but I have made a few contacts through it, so would really like to keep it. Thanks again for your help

Best way is to put unknown on the wrong person and go back to that later on

I have inadvertantly put the wrong person in my GR tree as my gr gr grand mother. I have read on here before about having to delete the child/children 1st and then work your way back, the problem is ,it won`t let me do this, as it won`t let me delete myself, my mother or her father etc.etc. so i`m stuck, anyone any ideas?
