By the time of the 18/06/1970 election, the minimum age had changed to 18 (I was 10 days too young).

Provided you were on the register, you'd be able to vote on your 21st/18th birthday or any day thereafter.

The next one was 18th June 1970.

Does anyone know when the next general election was after 22nd September 1966. Did you have to be born by any particular date in the year in order to vote at the next election after your twentyfirst - in those days - birthday, or would you be able to vote even if the election was on your birthday, or the day after for example.
