The Marriage Cert states the marriage was solemnized at The Parish Chruch in the Parish of Birtley in the COunty of Durham.

The witnesses were Richard Gritton and Edna Lees.

Richard Pearson has not signed the cert.

Edward Street appears on the marriage cert. as Durham and thats it.

I can find history in Florence Coote and more besides every time I look but Thomas Pearson remains a mystery. Looking forward to the next census lol!

They got married in the Registration district of Chester Le Street in the county of Durham. Your message makes it look like they married in Durham City.

Which town was Edward Street in?

Hi!

I have been trying to find more details on a Thomas Pearson without ANY success. He was born circa 1877 and married Florence Annie Coote in Durham 1903. It says on the marriage cert that his father was calld Richard and him and Thomas where Miner's. I cannot for the life of me find any info so I am now looking to the address given for Thomas on the marriage cert if anyone can help. It was Edward Street, Durham. ANY help whatsover greatly appreciated.
