You might want to get Augusta's birth cert as she was born in a census year or the dec of 1860 and if there is an address it could lead to finding then in 1861!
Augusta Jost
Year 1861
Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
District: St George in The East
County: London, Middlesex
Volume: 1c
Page: 433

Possible death of her husband?
George Jost, Sep Q 1869, Stepney, age 46.
Doesn't help though, I can't find any of them on the 61 census.

The children born either side of the census are all born St George in the East so they must still be in that district.

Don't see them on Findmypast either.

A lot of people seem to be missing in 1861. Several of my rellies are and I know the town they should be in.

I looked at the list of missing piece numbers on Ancestry and they don't cover St George in the East.
