The starter edition is not the full program and some of the features in it are dissabled, you have to buy the upgrade to make it work properley.

I was looking for HELP on Ancestry, so clicked Help.

Entered "How to open and run the Ancestry Family Tree"

Then clicked on

"Ancestry Tree vs Family Tree Maker 2005 Starter Edition"

At the bottom of this page you can download this for free.

Thought someone might be interested.

I paid £25 for Family TreeMaker 2007 last year.
