Hi

Try Googling for the museum in Bury, I'm sure that when I've been looking on their web site, that they have a "contact me" bit where you could possibly email them for more information.

Try Googling East Lancashire Fusiliers - quite a lot of hits.

They have a Museum in Bury, Lancs. I think they are now a TA unit. They have a fantastic drum band.

Hello
I have found out the regiment my grandad was in, in the first world war, but i cant make out what the letters mean what it says is along with his army number is private E- lancs 1/5 TF 126 BDE 42 DIV.
Anyone shed any light on it please? i did google and it came up with the manchester regiment but that was a separate brigade i think.
many thanks.
