help needed with my grandparent

I was led to believe my great grandfather was born in Scotland, but i looked on the 1901 census and put in William Adams and Ann Adams (my great grandmother) and it came up with them both, but he was born in Wales could they be a match or not.


Please please help

Cant believe what family legends are,
I was told my great grandfather was an only child, after looking up various records found he had 3 brothers and 5 sisters.

My Great grandfather is ~William Adams and he was born around 1877 on my Grandfathers marriage certificate it says his father was a farm labourer.

On the 1901 census it says that William adams is a farm labourer.

My great grandmother was ann/anne davies born1878.

I know they lived in the Pwhelli area of North Wales but who knows.

If they people I have are the right people i have got williams birth as april,may,june 1877 in pwhelli

the marriage i checked william adams and ann davies and got the same date as april may june 1900 in pwhelli

If the family is right i traced it back to his father who is Robert Adams born in Liverpool England.

William was born in Llanarmon caernarvon i have looked on other census's and come up with Robert Adams and his wife and their children.

I am very new to this bit and my auntie who would have remembered died last year.

How can you find out maiden names of the wifes this bit i am very new to as my family are useless at remembering anything this important.
