Sorry for the misleading address! Can't imagine what I was thinking of. As you say - just take the 'wide' off the address and there you are.
Once again apologies for any frustration .
Cheers

Hi Barbara,

Could you double-check the addie? I've just tried but nothing is coming up for the website.

Deb:)

Update: Found it. Just take the wide off wideblueyonder.

Hi Barbara and thanks

I was unable to find the site you mention - is it the same site as you list but without the word wide? as in wideblueyonder?

Hi Barbara and thanks for the Lancashire website address.

My dad's family all came from Lancashire and mainly were boat people on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal.

Tonight when I'm not so much in a rush, I'll take a look at the site.

Best wishes, from Beryl

I came across this site yesterday and thought it might be useful. It's a huge list of volunteers who will do look-ups from a variety of sources. The address is http://www.lancs-lookup.pwp.wideblueyonder.co.uk
Hope someone finds it useful
Cheers
