Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 133 Send Message	My husbands grandfather (Jewish descent) was born in Posen/Poznan came to England date unknown with surname London, sometine in1800's. Any ideas what correct surname could be (needle in a haystack I know!) How do we search. Also husbands grandmother came we think from Hamburg Germany born c1860. Surname Mendel or similar How do we go about finding her roots, their marriage (date /place unknown) etc Thanks Janet
